Francisco Mahon, of Boston, was arrested on Wednesday, May 3 in the area of 109 Main Street in Cambridge on a warrant out of Dorchester District Court, according to the Boston Police Department.

Officers on the Boston Police Fugitive Unit saw 40-year-old Mahon around 4:30 p.m. and were able to positively identify him with help from his clearly-visible neck tattoo of his own name, "Francisco."

Mahon was on the Boston Police Most Wanted List for a January 2022 armed robbery, in which he pulled a knife on a victim and attempted to physically assault him in Dorchester. The victim did not sustain any injuries but was robbed of his wallet and gold jewelry.

Mahon ran away on foot, and a police search failed to find him.

Mahon is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
